BRODIE HAND
University Lecturer | Neurophysiologist | Science Communicator
Brodie doesn’t just teach science, he lives it. With a PhD in biomedical research, first-class Honours in Health & Medical Sciences, and 7 years of university-level teaching experience, he’s helped hundreds of students navigate some of the most demanding content in biology, health and medical sciences.
As a former lecturer at the University of Adelaide and published researcher, he’s authored more than 15 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals including Brain Stimulation and the Journal of Applied Physiology. He’s delivered lectures, led labs, and facilitated workshops for over 600 students. He’s also presented neuroscience and career seminars at high schools across Adelaide, and has extensive experience in 1:1 tutoring and mentoring.
But what truly sets Brodie apart isn’t what he teaches, but how. A natural educator, Brodie combines academic excellence with real-world insight. He’s enthusiastic, personable, and has a rare ability to make complex scientific ideas simple.

PETA HAND

Peta is the kind of educator students trust, and parents breathe easier knowing she’s in their corner. With a Master of Teaching and a Bachelor of Advanced Science (majoring in biology and genetics), she brings both subject depth and classroom insight to every session.
As a qualified teacher with years of experience in Adelaide’s middle and senior schools, Peta understands the science and maths curriculum inside out, and more importantly, how to make it make sense. Her approach is calm, clear, and structured, helping students master complex concepts while building confidence and momentum.
Known for her warm, steady presence and her ability to build quick rapport, Peta meets each student exactly where they are and guides them toward where they want to be.

Both! We offer online sessions and face-to-face tutoring in Adelaide. A travel fee may apply depending on location.

Middle school mathematics and science, high school human sciences (including biology and psychology), as well as university-level subjects of health and medical science (including biology, physiology, anatomy, research methods and statistics).
